Yes. I have been a full-time professional photographer for over 20 years.
Although I photograph weddings, my background is in fashion, commercial, and editorial photography, and I bring that same high-end approach to every wedding I cover.
What happens if you’re sick or there is an emergency?
In the rare event that I am unable to attend due to illness or emergency, I have a strong network of highly experienced wedding photographers I can call upon. They would cover the wedding under the same terms, ensuring you remain fully looked after.
Are you insured?
I am fully insured, including full public liability insurance.
Before the wedding day, I usually provide the venue with a copy of my public liability certificate so everything is in place and compliant.
Have you shot at our venue before?
Given the number of weddings I’ve covered over the years, I have most likely worked at your venue.
If I haven’t, I will research your venue online and review images and maps. I do not usually need a pre-visit unless the venue is particularly unusual.
What camera do you use?
I use Canon professional equipment, a system I've trusted for many years.
That said, most modern cameras today deliver outstanding image quality, so the technical choice of brand is less important than the experience behind it. I regularly update my gear every couple of years to stay current with the latest technology.
Do you work alone or with a second photographer?
If you would like a second photographer, I’m happy to arrange one. A second photographer will give you more images, but it doesn't necessarily improve the quality of the main coverage; it simply increases the volume.
What are your prices?
Many of the weddings I photograph span multiple days and come with very different requirements. Pricing depends on factors such as the number of days, the number of hours, whether video is included, album options and number of pages.
How long does it take to receive our photos?
Delivery time depends on the season: Off-season: often 1 to2 weeks
Peak season: typically up to 3 weeks
I always aim to deliver as quickly as possible without compromising quality.
What about bad weather or difficult lighting?
If it rains, I will still document the day as it unfolds but will find alternatives and adapt to the conditions to ensure your photos look their best.
Modern cameras handle low light extremely well, and I also carry additional lighting.
What happens if the schedule runs late?
Weddings often run late and it’s completely normal. I always do my best to help you catch up, whether that means adjusting the timings for group photos or streamlining certain parts of the day.
Do you offer engagement or pre-wedding shoots?
Yes. I do. These relaxed sessions usually last around three hours and take place a few months before the wedding. We choose a date with good weather and if it rains, we can easily reschedule. You’ll receive a selection of beautifully edited images.
Do you have backup equipment?
Yes. I bring multiple backups of every essential piece of equipment.
Cameras can fail and equipment get damaged. I’m always fully prepared so that nothing interrupts your wedding coverage.
Feel free to get in touch if you have any other questions.
